Saxton is the King's solicitor and mated to Bitty's uncle, Ruhn, in the Black Dagger Brotherhood and Black Dagger Legacy series by JR Ward.
Biography[]
When his mahmen died, someone outed Saxton as gay to his father, Tyhm, which led to Tyhm kicking him out of the house a week after the death with nothing but the clothes on his back. All of his possessions were ritually burned in the woods behind the manor.[1]
An attorney of the Old Law, Saxton got his start preparing bloodline reports and trusts and estates.[2] Recognizing his levelheadedness and honesty, Wrath recruited him as his solicitor and put him to work on updating the Old Laws for a more egalitarian society. His first order of business was to ease restrictions on membership in the Black Dagger Brotherhood, which he did, however, he also advised Wrath of possible political repercussions from the glymera, who were already unhappy with the erosion of their power base.
Through his work, Saxton met Blaylock and they became lovers, sharing a room in the mansion even though he officially had a room of his own. Even though he knew Blay was still in love with Qhuinn, he thought he could keep their relationship casual, but over time Saxton fell in love with him. When he knew beyond a doubt how he felt and that there was no future for their relationship, Saxton broke up with him.
Saxton later meets Ruhn and falls in love with him. After Ruhn's throat is slit, from a fight with humans over Miniahna's real estate legal dispute, Saxton plans to ahvenge Ruhn. Saxton kills the three humans involved with Ruhn's attempted murder with the help of Vishous, Qhuinn and Blaylock. Then, those three chase the human behind it all out of New York.
Personality[]
He's suave, debonair, and well-educated. Saxton is always well-dressed in a suit and clean-shaven.
Physical Description[]
He has grey eyes[1] and wears his wavy blonde hair parted to the side. His square[3] face is so perfect he's beautiful and his voice is oddly deep.[2]

Blaylock[]
Blaylock and Saxton had a brief relationship in which Saxton realized he was in love with Blay, but Blay did not feel the same. He liked Saxton and he enjoyed his company and the sex but there was no strong emotional bond and that Blay was really in love with Saxton's cousin, Qhuinn. Saxton was devastated by this and made the tough choice to break the relationship off for his own sake.
Qhuinn[]
One of his favourite cousins, Saxton admires Qhuinn for his nonconformity and surviving.[4] Although, that relationship suffered quite a bit when Saxton was dating Blaylock.
Ruhn[]
hellren. Saxton and Ruhn meet in Blood Vow, when Saxton brings the papers to the mansion for Ruhn to sign over his legal rights in regards to Bitty. Ruhn was assigned to protect Saxton when he went to investigate a real estate dispute on behalf of the King. Ruhn eventually realized he had a sexual attraction to Saxton which was a surprise as he hadn't been attracted to a male before. Eventually, he admitted it to Saxton after Saxton misunderstood the reason Ruhn was uncomfortable as him being homophobic. They both realized they were attracted to each other sexually and a strong emotional bond grew from that over the course of their work on Miniahna's real estate dispute. After Ruhn's throat is slit, from a fight with humans over Miniahna's real estate legal dispute, Saxton plans to ahvenge Ruhn. Ruhn survives and Minnie offers to sell her house to Saxton and Ruhn.
Tyhm[]
His father essentially disowned him for being gay and occasionally tries to shame him into going straight. He's even told Saxton to his face that he hates him.[1] Although it does sting, of course, Saxton sees his existence as "fuck-you to his father."[5]
